Before the Nintendo DS even thought of it, time manipulation was already a thing.
For fans of unique storytelling in the gaming world, there’s exciting news. Some early classics from a truly distinctive scenario writer are making their way to the Switch next year, and this time, you won’t need any fan translations.
Spike Chunsoft has announced they’re bringing revamped versions of “Ever 17 – The Out Of Infinity” and “Never 7 – The End Of Infinity” to the Switch, complete with full localization for the very first time. Mark your calendars for March 6, as these games make their debut: “Never 7” will be priced at $19.99, “Ever 17” at $29.99, and a bundled package will be available for $44.99.
Originally, these games were launched only in Japan, with “Never 7” debuting in 2000 and “Ever 17” following in 2002. They form a part of a time-loop adventure series crafted by Kotaro Uchikoshi, who later gained fame for the Zero Escape series, which includes “999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, Nine Doors,” “Virtue’s Last Reward,” and “Zero Time Dilemma,” as well as the AI: The Somnium Files duo.
