Microsoft has rolled out an exciting new feature for its Edge browser, called Game Assist. Announced in a recent blog post, this feature, which is available in preview, acts as an in-game browser offering users helpful tips and tricks. Gamers can access it seamlessly through the Game Bar.
According to Microsoft, a whopping 88% of PC gamers frequently switch out of their games to search for gaming tips online. Their research highlights that 40% of these players seek advice, guides, and assistance during gameplay.
“Game Assist simplifies this process,” explains the company, “by showcasing the resources you need right when you open a new tab. Currently, our preview is available in English and focuses on a selection of popular PC games. We’re eager to refine this offering based on user feedback.”
As of now, Edge Game Assist supports a selection of hit games, including Baldur’s Gate 3, Diablo 4, Fortnite, Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, League of Legends, Minecraft, Overwatch 2, Roblox, and Valorant.
