As we edge closer to the December release of Alien: Rogue Incursion on PSVR 2 and PC VR, Survios is amping up the excitement with a fresh story trailer. This new footage gives us a deeper look into the narrative surrounding our main character, Zula Hendricks, and her mission on LV-354, also known as ‘Purdan’.
The trailer leaves us pondering some intriguing questions: What happened to her friend and former squad member on Purdan? What kind of dangerous experiments were the researchers conducting at this mysterious facility? While the obvious answer points to "Xenomorphs," the game teases even more layers to uncover. We get a sneak peek at Zula’s journey with her android sidekick, Davis 01, as they head to the planet to reconnect with Ben Carver, Zula’s former squad mate.
As expected in a scenario like this, they soon find themselves immersed in a battle for survival against the stealthy Xenomorphs. These creatures hunt in packs, reminiscent of the cunning Velociraptors from Jurassic Park (1993), promising intense bouts of suspense.
“We decided early on that the chaos on Purdan had already erupted by the time Zula arrives. She’s essentially stepping into the aftermath, with Castor’s Cradle—the research facility—overrun by terrifying Xenomorphs,” explains Survios’s Chief Product Officer, TQ Jefferson. “Starting the story after the initial outbreak lets us dive straight into the high-stakes drama and action.”
Mark your calendars for December 19th, when Alien: Rogue Incursion drops on PSVR 2 and SteamVR headsets. Look out for its release on Quest 3 and Quest 3S in early 2025. If you’re eager to jump into the fray, pre-orders are now live on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Horizon Store.
