Devs United Games, the creative team behind the Quest-exclusive Real VR Fishing, has some exciting news: the beloved VR fishing game is making its way to PC VR headsets next month.
Scheduled for an early December release on SteamVR, Real VR Fishing will carry over the pricing model and gameplay experience players have enjoyed on the Quest. For fans eager for more content, all DLCs, including US West Coast, US East Coast, Japan Part 1, and Part 2, will be available on Steam from day one.
Dive into the base game, which boasts 40 unique fishing spots and an impressive lineup of over 150 fish species. But if you’re looking for even more variety, the DLC packs offer an additional 95 fishing locations and over 300 new fish to catch.
While the Quest version is known for both its solo play and four-player multiplayer modes, the Steam release will not support cross-play multiplayer with Quest, Pico, and PC VR platforms. However, the developers have packed in some cool features for the Steam version, including built-in YouTube access, web browsing, regular monthly updates, and options to customize your in-game aquarium.
Since its initial release on Quest back in late 2019, Real VR Fishing has quickly hooked players, securing its place as the top fishing game on the platform. Don’t just take our word for it—the game holds an impressive 4.6 out of 5 rating from over 7,200 players.
If this has you intrigued, head over to Steam and add Real VR Fishing to your wishlist in anticipation of its early December debut.
