Almost a year has passed since Asgard’s Wrath 2 made its debut, and it now contends with Loki’s lingering influence in its concluding Cosmic Event series.
Since its launch last December, Sanzaru Games has kept the VR action RPG fresh by continually introducing Cosmic Events. These are time-limited challenges that present players with unique tasks known as Cosmic Objectives. Throughout these events, players have battled a vampiric outbreak, ventured across the multiverse, stood against Surtur’s onslaught, and much more. Now, the final chapter, titled ‘The Trickster’s Legacy,’ has us once again facing off against Loki.
In this climactic event, players are charged with mending these warped realities. You’ll find yourself stepping through ‘?’ doors scattered across the Uncharted Rifts, enduring perilous trap rooms, completing a series of five divine trials within a single run, and tidying up the Loki Anomalies throughout the overworld. Success in these tasks rewards you with the Staff of the Trickster, a replica of the Ma’at Stones, Loki’s notorious horned helmet, along with emotes, badges, and titles.
This might be the last newly introduced event, but it’s not the farewell of Cosmic Events entirely. Sanzaru Games has announced that they will repeat each event starting with Into the Multiverse, giving players another opportunity to snag those exclusive rewards.
In addition, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is offering a fresh outfit that won’t disappear after the event—a departure from the usual limited-time rewards. This exclusive set is available to Meta Quest+ subscribers and features dinosaur-themed armor inspired by the island of Laramidia, complete with a complementary stone blade weapon.
For those eager to dive into this epic saga, Asgard’s Wrath 2 is currently available on the Meta Quest platform.
