For fans of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, there’s a special opportunity you won’t want to miss. Until November 30, players can use specific Mystery Gift codes to unlock some freebies in the game. The Mystery Gift system, a much-loved feature from earlier Pokémon games, makes a return in these titles, allowing gamers to enter codes for a range of goodies including exclusive items and Pokémon.
There’s always a selection of Mystery Gift codes active in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but they won’t last forever. To make sure you don’t miss out, you should redeem these codes as soon as possible. Notably, three codes will soon be retired, with their expiration set for Saturday, November 30.
In an interesting tidbit shared by ComicBook, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet players are reminded to act fast to claim gifts using these codes: SEEY0U1NPALDEA grants you a Gimmighoul, D0T1STPARTNER gives you a Quaxly, and WEARTERASTALCAP lets you spruce up your character with a Terastal Cap. These codes are active right now, but once November 30 rolls around, they’ll vanish. So, if you want to snag these bonuses, just head over to the Poké Portal and navigate to the Mystery Gift menu to punch in the codes.
Specifically, the Quaxly available via the D0T1STPARTNER code is inspired by the one from the Horizons anime. Meanwhile, the SEEY0U1NPALDEA code gives out a “chipper” Gimmighoul in its Chest Form, which was part of a special promotion for the Pokémon: Paldean Winds anime. The Terastal Cap is purely cosmetic, offering a nod to the unique battle feature of terastallization in Scarlet and Violet.
This beloved Mystery Gift feature seems to be a staple that fans can expect in future Pokémon games. It has been used in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and it’s likely that upcoming titles like Pokémon Legends: Z-A and even the future Generation 10 games might utilize them too. But for now, Pokémon Scarlet and Violet remain at the center of attention, providing a platform for any new codes to be redeemed until future releases.
The world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet offers a vast journey through the magical Paldea region, where you’re encouraged to discover your own treasures in an exciting independent study project themed “A Treasure Hunt.” The game weaves three unique storylines, featuring challenges like achieving Champion Rank along Victory Road, searching for rare ingredients on the Path of Legends, or confronting Team Star on Starfall Street. Fans can revel in the open world exploration, capturing Pokémon and interacting with different characters along the way.
First released on November 18, 2022, this title supports local multiplayer and is built on a proprietary engine, rated E for Everyone due to mild fantasy violence. For those who want to complete it in 32 hours, it offers a captivating experience without cross-save or cross-platform play options. However, it is compatible with Steam Deck, allowing even more players to dive into the captivating world of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
