Rocksteady Studios has decided to bring their work on the struggling title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, to a close next month.
In a recent blog update, Rocksteady shared that they will cease releasing new content for the supervillain game following the debut of Season 4 Episode 8, slated for January.
“This will mark the end of seasonal episodes for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” Rocksteady stated.
The studio emphasized that while Season 4 Episode 8 wraps up the battle against Brainiac, players will still have access to all online features. You can continue enjoying co-op play with friends and revisit any of the previous seasonal and episodic content. Additionally, there’s a new Offline mode, enabling access to the main story campaign and all post-launch content without needing to connect online.
When the game was released in January, it didn’t exactly light up the charts, facing a wave of mixed reviews and disappointing sales figures. Warner Bros, the game’s publisher, admitted that it fell below their anticipated expectations.
