This graphical mishap showed Aunt May’s face appearing ghostly pale, reminiscent of the horror icon Michael Myers. Although the glitch was brief, only affecting May’s face and not the surrounding environment, it was unsettling enough to draw comparisons. In his tweet, abzu235 cheekily dubbed it the “creepiest jumpscare in the history of gaming.”
Recognizing these growing concerns, the developers have been quick to address launch issues on the PC platform. Despite the hype, Spider-Man 2’s rollout on Steam faced a rocky start, reflected in its “Mixed” rating on the platform. Users have been reporting a range of issues, from audio synchronization problems to outright game crashes.
