PS5 Pro gamers are in for a treat with the forthcoming RPG, Monster Hunter Wilds, which promises breathtaking visual fidelity thanks to the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) technology. Capcom has slated this much-anticipated game for release on February 28.
Monster Hunter Wilds is Set to Launch with PS5 Pro’s Advanced Features
Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest addition to the roster of major AAA titles that are debuting with PS5 Pro compatibility. Capcom has assured players that the game will provide enhanced visuals without sacrificing performance. However, they caution that frame rates may occasionally dip during intense system-demanding sequences.
Here’s a breakdown of the enhancements exclusive to the PS5 Pro:
- Prioritize Resolution: With ray tracing on, you’ll experience a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and rendering at 3072 x 1728, all at 30 fps.
- Balanced: Again with ray tracing enabled, this setting offers a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and 2496 x 1404 rendering, aiming for 40 fps.
- Prioritize Frame Rate: Disabling ray tracing to achieve a smooth frame rate of 60 fps, it delivers a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with rendering at 1920 x 1080.
Don’t forget, if you’re eager to get a sneak peek, Monster Hunter Wilds is hosting a free beta test starting today and continuing through Sunday evening, February 9. You can jump in by adding the beta to your library through the PlayStation Store right now.
