MoonHood is gearing up to release their latest adventure game, The Midnight Walk, which is set to launch on both the PSVR 2 and PC VR headsets on May 8th, 2025.
The newly dropped trailer gives us our first real glimpse into The Midnight Walk’s gameplay, showcasing some intriguing object interactions and engaging shooter mechanics.
Players will step into the shoes of ‘The Burnt One,’ a character joined by Potboy, a charming lantern creature whose flame guides you through the dark.
According to the studio, surviving in this world requires stealth, cunning, and a touch of ingenuity to outwit the various monsters lurking in the shadows. As you progress, you’ll unravel five tales of fire and darkness, meeting an eccentric cast of characters along the way.
What really sets the game’s characters apart is their unique design. They’ve been crafted using hand modeling and 3D scanning techniques, giving them a distinctly eerie look reminiscent of the beloved film, Nightmare Before Christmas.
Apart from its VR offerings, The Midnight Walk will also be available in a flat-screen format for PlayStation 5 and PC. Interested players can secure their copy now on the PlayStation Store for $40, or add it to their wishlist on Steam.
