Nintendo has announced that tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation for the Nintendo Switch 2 will be about an hour in duration. Set your reminders because itβs scheduled to broadcast on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, starting at 6 a.m. PT, 9 a.m. ET, 2 p.m. BST, and 3 p.m. CEST.
Just last month, the curtains were lifted on the Nintendo Switch 2, bringing much relief by putting an end to the swirling rumors and dubious leaks about what’s next for Nintendo’s beloved portable home console.
In a brief but exciting reveal video, fans got a look at the console’s design, a hint at a new Mario Kart game, and a confirmation that this new device will be backwards compatible with games from the original console.
Nintendo has made it clear that their new console supports both physical and digital formats of Nintendo Switch games. However, they did issue a heads-up that not all existing Nintendo Switch games will be supported or may not fully function on Nintendo Switch 2.
Although a specific launch date has yet to be nailed down, the Nintendo Switch 2 is set for a global release in 2025.
Nintendo enthusiasts and gamers alike are eagerly waiting for more details during tomorrowβs presentation, so make sure to tune in!
