The REV Guard button (R1) is your ally, keeping enemies at a distance and leaving you in a stronger position to clinch that win. Just one press activates the REV Guard, which is perfect when you’re anticipating a move like Kain’s Schwarzes Rondo or a tricky follow-up from B. Jenet’s Gulf Tomahawk. What’s more, with REV Guard, you can keep pressing the button while executing other actions—whether it’s breaking free from a grab or skirting out of a dicey situation with a hop. Make a habit of using REV Guard as you wake up in battle to shield yourself from incoming attacks.
