Ubisoft recently announced a delay for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, shifting its release from February 14 to March 20, 2025. Fans eagerly awaiting the game will have to be patient a bit longer before they can explore the beautifully crafted Feudal Japan setting.
The delay, reported by Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, seems to coincide with Ubisoft’s current exploration of potential sale opportunities. The company itself has described this move as pursuing a variety of “transformational strategic and capitalistic options to extract the best value for stakeholders,” although this corporate jargon doesn’t exactly clarify the situation.
