As November wraps up, PlayStation Plus is ushering in a fresh batch of games for subscribers, just in time for December 2024. This month’s offerings bring an impressive trio of games to the table, including a standout title that snagged the prestigious Game of the Year award at The Game Awards back in 2021. On top of that, some beloved PlayStation 2 classics are making a comeback, available in the Classics Catalog for those with Premium subscriptions.
For gamers with PS Plus Essential, Extra, or Premium memberships, December brings a delightful lineup featuring “It Takes Two,” “Aliens: Dark Descent,” and “Temtem.” Mark your calendars for December 3, 2024, as that’s when these games will become available for download, and you’ll have until January 6, 2024, to claim them.
Players can dive into “It Takes Two” and “Aliens: Dark Descent” on either PS4 or PS5 consoles. However, if you’re hoping to get your hands on “Temtem,” note that it’s exclusive to PS5 users.
With these new titles stepping onto the scene, it’s time to bid farewell to the PS Plus November 2024 lineup. You’ve got until December 2, 2024, to add “Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged,” “Ghostwire: Tokyo,” or “Death Note Killer Within” to your library without any added cost.
For those who subscribe to PS Plus Premium, there are a few extra treats this holiday season. Starting December 3, you can sample “Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 2” with a game trial. Though the exact duration isn’t specified, most game trials typically span one to three hours, so it’s a safe bet it’ll fall within that range.
This festive season, the PS Plus Premium Classics Catalog is also expanding to include some fan-favorite PS2 characters. Both “Sly 2: Band of Thieves” and “Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves” are now part of the subscription, completing the entire Sly trilogy for enthusiasts to explore. Plus, Naughty Dog’s “Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy” joins the ranks. Adventurers can jump into the worlds of Sly and Jak starting December 10, 2024.
