Scheduled for release on February 27th for Quest 3 and 3S, Detective VR offers a narrative-driven experience where players can manipulate time, gather clues, and question witnesses, all from the comfort of their living room. By using Passthrough mode, the game seamlessly merges reality with the virtual, allowing for immersive investigations.

Drawing gameplay inspiration from Return of the Obra Dinn, Immortality, and Minority Report, players should brace themselves for complex cases. Testimonies can be unreliable, making it essential to challenge suspects while navigating between mixed and virtual reality environments.

Exclusively on the Quest, the game promises around five hours of engaging storytelling. One of its standout features is the ability to control the timeline—rewind, pause, and play scenes to uncover hidden clues. Detective VR also showcases interactions with six characters, all brought to life with full motion capture and voice acting.
