Can you believe it’s already been a year since Palworld hit the gaming scene in early access? Time flies when you’re battling Pals with firearms in hand. Although the initial buzz has simmered down a bit, the game has been steadily chugging along with regular updates. Sure, there was a bit of drama with a legal hiccup involving Nintendo and the Pokemon Company, but that’s not slowing down their plans. Just today, the developers dropped an exciting roadmap on their official Twitter, teasing us with future updates and fan-favorite features in the pipeline.
Heading up the list of major updates, co-op crossplay is on its way, and you’ll also soon have the ability to transfer your Pals across different worlds. Oh, and for those of you who love a climactic showdown, a new Final Boss and concluding scenario are in development. There are enhancements on the horizon for boosting your Pals, plus new Pals and tech goodies to play with. Interestingly enough, the clear hint at multiple game collaborations has piqued our curiosity too—building on last year’s announcement of a tie-in with Terraria. Plus, the team promises improvements for base Pals, user experience, placement of world objects, and overall game UX.
If you’re wondering when exactly these updates are landing, well, so are we. The roadmap is more of a heads-up on what’s coming down the line, so you’ll have to hang tight for specific dates. In the meantime, you can get involved in Palworld’s very first global popularity poll and cast your vote for your favorite Pal. I’m putting my money on that Totoro-esque buddy always rocking a gatling gun.
