Looks like Nintendo has found a sweet spot in the calendar for its movie debuts, often choosing late March to early April for theatrical releases.
Today, they revealed that fans can expect The Legend of Zelda movie to hit theaters nationwide on March 26, 2027. This release schedule echoes the strategy they used for the animated Super Mario Bros movie, which premiered in early April 2023, with its sequel slated for April the following year.
As for who’s going to bring the beloved characters of the Zelda universe to life, the casting decisions for this collaboration with Sony Pictures remain under wraps for now.
