In Marathon, you take on the role of a Runner, a cybernetically enhanced mercenary capable of extraordinary feats. Whether you prefer charging in with guns blazing or taking a thoughtful, strategic approach, each Runner comes equipped with a special set of skills that suit your style. Customization is key—modify your Runner with various implants and weapons, both before missions and with resources gathered during them.

Form a team of up to three players and dive into zones teeming with loot. Survival hinges on outsmarting rampant AI security and rival Runner teams. If you make it out alive, the spoils are yours to keep for subsequent outings. For the bold, there’s an added thrill—go it alone, bring down entire teams single-handedly, and emerge with all the riches.

Drawing from its storied history with FPS games like “Halo” and “Destiny 2,” Bungie introduces a distinctive FPS experience in Marathon, complemented by seasonal updates. Alongside your friends, you’ll be driven to uncover secrets surrounding Tau Ceti IV and its enigmatic ghost ship, Marathon.
