If you’ve completed the main story in New Wirral and claim you’re a master, this is your battlefield to prove it! You can even team up with a buddy for some online co-op action because this ride promises to be thrilling and challenging!
Now, let’s take a closer look at what awaits on the Midnight Train!
The gauntlet presents a series of randomly generated battles that grow tougher as you advance. Just when you think you’ve got the beast battles figured out, you’ll find these encounters a real test of skill. Here’s what you’ll experience on the train:
- Some carriages replace battles with treasure chests.
- A rest carriage acts as a save point and healing station, where you can also visit Magikrab’s café to spend your winnings.
- Boss carriages will challenge you to prove your mettle with epic fights, including the chance to team up with a buddy for Archangel battles!
The further you progress, the more Fused Material you accrue. But beware – with greater risk comes the potential for a greater reward, or a spectacular defeat if you lose a battle. So, will you call it quits and claim your earnings, or push on for glory?
Expect to run into some familiar faces, either as allies or adversaries, but they’ve geared up with highly upgraded tapes and stickers. Some encounters are unique to certain conditions, adding an exciting layer of mystery as you navigate your journey.
