Last year, Tensori, the developer behind the game POOLS, announced they were working on bringing VR support to their Backrooms Internet lore-inspired creation. Get ready, because on May 30th, you can experience this unique game on PC VR headsets.
Unlike typical horror games that have you fleeing from terrifying monsters or solving life-or-death puzzles, POOLS offers a different kind of thrill. It’s all about pools—eerily mysterious ones.
This upgrade will be available as a free update for the PC game starting May 30th, and it gives you the chance to play the entire game in VR, right from the beginning to the end. This includes the newest addition, ‘Chapter 0,’ which was introduced on April 21st and adds a fresh layer to the game.
Soon, PC players will find this VR support added for free via Steam. For those on PS5, there’s good news too—Tensori has shared in a recent Steam update that PSVR 2 support will arrive later in the year.
For now, you can snag POOLS on Steam at a discount. It’s priced at $6.36, a nice 35% off its usual $9.79, but only until April 27th. They also offer a free demo, though it’s still unclear if this demo will include VR support once the upgrade is launched on May 30th.
