This past week was pretty exciting for the Xbox community, as Forza Horizon 5 made its debut on the PlayStation, marking a significant milestone for Xbox’s multiplatform aspirations. In terms of performance, it’s been an impressive launch, with the PS5 Pro offering an experience that rivals, and some might say surpasses, the Series X.
Xbox seems committed to its mission of broadening the reach of its games, transcending traditional platform boundaries. They’re making games accessible wherever players are, whether it’s through Xbox hardware, PC platforms like Steam and Battle.net, cloud services, or now, even on PlayStation and Nintendo systems.
Ideally, we’d see some reciprocity from Sony in this shared gaming ecosystem. While PlayStation exclusives are slowly making their way to PC, the Xbox console remains largely left out—with the notable exception of MLB: The Show.
So, what titles from the PS5 would you like to see jump ship to Xbox? I’m curious about your thoughts!
For me, the choices are clear. Titles like Spider-Man Remastered, Spider-Man Miles Morales, and Spider-Man 2 are thrilling prospects for the Xbox Series X|S. I’ve enjoyed every moment of swinging through New York on both PlayStation and PC, and I’d eagerly dive back in if they made it to Xbox. The original Spider-Man game has a special place in my heart as one of my favorites.
Beyond the web-slinger, there’s Days Gone—a game I’ve dabbled in on PC—that would shine on Xbox. It offers a distinct enough experience to stand apart from games like State of Decay, and I firmly believe it’s deserving of more recognition.
Oh, and I wouldn’t mind giving Gran Turismo 7 a spin, even though my allegiance lies with the Forza Motorsport series.
That’s my two cents. But what about you? Whether it’s a classic or a new release, if there’s something from the PlayStation roster you’d love to see ported to Xbox, let us know in the comments! Your wishlist could spark some interesting discussions.
