Isabel May, known for her roles in “1883” and “Young Sheldon,” is reportedly in talks to join the project. With a targeted release date of February 27, 2026, production is expected to begin soon. Interestingly, the script is penned by Guy Busick, who co-wrote the 2022 and 2023 Scream movies. While it was anticipated that Radio Silence would step back after the last film, Christopher Landon was initially set to take the reins for this sequel until plans changed dramatically due to some behind-the-scenes commotion.

Scream 6 then veered into a different direction, which was generally well-received.
