As February approaches, Xbox gamers are gearing up for a slew of server shutdowns that could impact their achievement-hunting endeavors. To help you strategize your play time, we’ve compiled a list of games set to lose their online functionality in February 2025.
Xbox Server Closures for February 2025
Here are the games affected:
- Divine Knockout — February 17, 2025
- Realm Royale Reforged — February 17, 2025
- EA Sports UFC 3 — February 17, 2025
- Hood: Outlaws and Legends — February 18, 2025
- Dark Alliance — February 24, 2025
- The Golf Club — February 28, 2025
- The Golf Club 2 — February 28, 2025
- KartRider: Drift — February 28, 2025
- Disco Dodgeball Remix — February 28, 2025
Let’s dive into the details of each game facing server shutdowns this February.
Divine Knockout
In October, Hi-Rez Studios revealed its focus would shift towards Smite 2, leading to layoffs and the closure of servers for Divine Knockout and Realm Royale Reforged on February 17. Once the servers go offline, 19 achievements in Divine Knockout will be rendered unobtainable. If you’ve got your eyes on that 1,000G, better set aside about eight hours to complete the game.
Realm Royale Reforged
The restructuring at Hi-Rez Studios also affects Realm Royale Reforged. This battle royale game, which is solely online, will see its 20 achievements become inaccessible after February 17. Want a shot at that 1,000G? Plan for around 15 hours of gameplay and check out our detailed walkthrough for some guidance.
EA Sports UFC 3
Hitting its stride over the past five years, EA Sports UFC 3 will see its servers turned off on February 17. Out of the 15 achievements tied to its online play, many will require a substantial time investment to secure. Although it’s no longer available on the Microsoft Store, Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers can still access this MMA title.
Hood: Outlaws and Legends
Come February 18, Hood: Outlaws and Legends will see its servers close. As an entirely online multiplayer experience, this means all 50 achievements will be discontinued. If you’re keen on completing it, you’ll need to clock in around 80 hours. Unfortunately, it’s been delisted from the Microsoft Store, and with only digital copies released, you’ll need to own it already to play.
Dark Alliance
Expect Dark Alliance’s servers to shut down on February 24, putting an end to four online-only achievements. Developers Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast have also announced that this action RPG will vanish from the Xbox store the very day the servers close.
The Golf Club
In December, HB Studios and 2K Sports revealed the servers for the legacy title The Golf Club would shut down on February 28. This move will lead to six online-focused achievements becoming unavailable. The game has been removed from the Xbox store, so finding a physical copy is your best bet for completion.
The Golf Club 2
Similarly, The Golf Club 2 will see four online achievements phased out after February 28. As with its predecessor, it’s no longer up on the Microsoft Store, and tracking down a physical version is recommended if you haven’t downloaded it already.
KartRider: Drift
Back in August, Nexon announced that the free-to-play racer KartRider: Drift would cease operations on February 28. Of its 28 achievements, 22 depend on online play that will become unobtainable. It’s also been delisted from the Xbox store, so time is of the essence.
Disco Dodgeball Remix
Lastly, Disco Dodgeball Remix will say goodbye to online multiplayer on February 28. Fortunately, you don’t have any online-only achievements to worry about here. However, be aware that the game is set to be delisted the same day, and without a physical release, it will disappear after being removed from the Microsoft Store.
Get your gaming sessions in before these dates to ensure you don’t miss out on completing the achievements you’re aiming for.
