This week’s lineup on the Nintendo Switch eShop offers a delightful mix of classic SNES games, fresh additions to Nintendo’s music app, tempting sales, and an exciting roster of new titles.
The Switch Online library continues to grow, adding four classics from Koei, a revered developer from the SNES era. Leading the way are Nobunaga’s Ambition and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Lord of Darkness, initially released in the early ’90s. These games plunge you into the Sengoku period of Japan, tasked with the grand mission of reuniting the regions.
Following is Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV Wall of Fire, a 1994 gem that takes on the intricate politics and battles of China’s historical Three Kingdoms saga. This turn-based strategy game invites you to either expand your realm through military might or outmaneuver rivals with sharp negotiations.
And let’s not forget Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, a European-themed sailing and trading adventure from 1993. Set during the Age of Discovery, it allows you to explore over 130 destinations while managing a fleet and seeking out treasures.
Meanwhile, the Nintendo Music app also sees an interesting update. This week brings a selection of 23 tracks from Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Oddly, only part of the soundtrack has been released, leaving us curious about when the rest will appear.
Switch eShop is also rolling out several fresh titles this week, including the intriguing Which Way Up: Galaxy Games. We recently had a chat with Turtle Flip Studio, the brains behind this game, on our Pure Nintendo Podcast—definitely give it a listen and stay tuned for our upcoming review!
So, there you have it—this week’s eShop offerings. What games have caught your eye? We’d love to hear what you’re diving into this week!
